Acceptance of samples and carcasses

Monday - Friday:

  • 7:30 - 12:00 a.m. for necropsies on the same day
  • 12:00 - 16:00 p.m. for necropsies on the following day
  • After 16:00 p.m. delivery by appointment only.

Weekend service

  • On Saturdays, only emergency necropsies are performed and an emergency surcharge of CHF 1,000 is applied.  
  • NO necropsies are performed on Sundays and public holidays. 
  • Emergency necropsies must be registered by calling +41 31 684 24 68, preferably before 8 a.m. and no later than 9 a.m. 
  • On saturdays, sundays and public holidays, the necropsy hall is staffed by our personnel for deliveries between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. 
  • Delivered animal carcasses for necropsy are stored in our refrigerated facilities and examined on the following working day.
